Hurstville Chamber of Commerce, Champions For Business
The Hurstville Chamber of Commerce hard work has been recognised and is a finalist for the prestigious and hotly contested award of Chamber of Commerce of the Year Award 2016, with fierce competition from Bondi and Districts, Double Bay and Coogee chambers of commerce.
Mr Allan Zreik President said “our mission is simple we help businesses maximise their potential in the Hurstville area and to be the voice of small business. The Chamber is an advocate for small business whether its standing up to government and decision makers when business interests are neglected, or working together to create positive change, the Hurstville Chamber of Commerce review and lobby in regards to city development plans, we want to see growth and reduce red tape” Allan added “we believe its important for the business community to succeed, because prosperity creates new jobs, social wealth and better communities with to live in”. The Hurstville Chamber of Commerce heritage can be traced back to 1922.
Allan said “with political climate uncertainty, RBA interest rates it’s essential for small business to tune out the noise and focus on both the financial and non-financial aspects of their business” Allan added that “with the newly appointed administrators for the newly combined Georges River Council, its essential we work together and focus on core business growth for the greater area”
